Aproximativ 500 de angajati urmeaza a fi disponibilizati la fabrica din Tulcea, in timp ce uzina va pastra un grup-cheie de specialisti pentru activitatile de cercetare-dezvoltare, logistica, intretinere si reparatii pentru a putea reporni rapid uzina cand conditiile pietei se vor imbunatati. In acest context, conducerea companiei a propus spre aprobare in AGA din data de 29 iulie 2022, suspendarea temporara a operatiunilor de productie de alumina ale ALUM, incepand cu data de 1 august 2022 pentru o perioada estimata de 17 luni, concomitent cu pastrarea specialistilor cheie din toate departamentele fabricii. Vanzarea ar putea aduce pana la 1.5 mld. USD pentru companie, capacitatea totala de productie a celor doua campuri fiind de 50,000 de barili de petrol pe zi. Potentiala dezinvestire ar permite companiei sa se concentreze mai mult pe exploatarea unor campuri petroliere mai noi si mai mari, precum cel din Golf, a carei productie va incepe 2024, conform asteptarilor. Informatia vine dupa ce, anul acesta, Shell cauta sa vanda participatia sa in legatura cu doua retele de campuri de gaze naturale din Marea Nordului, dar si dupa ce, luna trecuta, a suspendat planurile de vanzare ale unor active onshore din Nigeria, datorita unei dispozitii a Curtii Supreme din Nigeria. [[AIRBUS]] - Directorul executiv al companiei Airbus a declarat, ieri, in cadrul targului international de la Farnborough, ca se simte mai optimist in ceea ce priveste intarzierile la livrarea motoarelor cu reactie a discutiilor din acesta zile cu furnizorii. Cea mai bine vanduta familie de avioane Airbus, A320neo, este dotata cu motoare furnizate fie de CFM International, un joint-venture intre General Electric si compania franceza Safran, fie de Pratt &amp;amp;amp; Whitney, unitate a Raytheon Technologies. Tot acesta a declarat despre disputa cu Dassault Aviation in legatura cu urmatoarea etapa a unui proiect franco-germano-spaniol de avioane de lupta, ca Airbus se gandeste la alte optiuni, dar se concentreaza sa faca proiectul sa functioneze asa cum a fost planificat. Tot in cadrul show-ului aviatic, Airbus a confirmat un acord pentru 56 de avioane din familia A320neo pentru easyJet, dupa ce actionarii companiei aeriene au sustinut aceasta decizie. [[Volkswagen AG]] - Compania germana Volkswagen si producatorul de cipuri STMicroelectronics vor dezvolta impreuna un nou semiconductor, pe fondul unei crize globale de microcipuri care a afectat lantul de aprovizionare al industriei auto. Cariad, unitatea de software a Volkswagen, a declarat in luna mai ca va achizitiona, de asemenea, system-on-chips de la Qualcomm, prin care masina poate gestiona toate aspectele legate de conducere in majoritatea circumstantelor fara interventie umana. In alte stiri, compania Porsche, ar putea fi nevoita sa se listeze la bursa la un pret foarte scazut daca insista sa mearga mai departe, pe masura ce obstacolele economice se aduna. Asteptarile initiale au fost mari, Porsche avand evaluari de peste 80 de mld. EUR, dar este posibil sa fie nevoita sa se multumeasca cu doar 60 de mld. [[TESLA INC.]] - Tesla a raportat, ieri, o scadere mai mica decat se astepta a profitului trimestrial, deoarece o serie de cresteri de preturi la vehiculele sale electrice a ajutat la compensarea dificultatilor de productie cauzate de blocarea COVID-19 in China. Producatorul de vehicule electrice a inregistrat un profit ajustat de 2.27 USD pe actiune pentru trimestrul respectiv, fata de estimarile de consens ale analistilor de 1.81 USD. Aceasta a fost in scadere de la 3.22 USD in trimestrul precedent. Marja sa bruta auto a scazut la 27.9%, in scadere fata de anul precedent si trimestrul anterior, pe fondul presiunii inflationiste. Veniturile totale ale Tesla au scazut la 16.93 mld. USD in al doilea trimestru, de la 18.76 mld. USD in trimestrul precedent, punand capat seriei de venituri record inregistrate in ultimele trimestre. Analistii se asteptau la venituri de 17.10 mld. USD, potrivit datelor IBES de la Refinitiv. Uzinele implicate au o capacitate de productie anuala combinata de aproximativ 70,000 de vehicule, reprezentand anul trecut aproximativ 30% din capacitatea totala de productie anuala a GM Korea. In alte stiri, GM si Ford au cerut autoritatilor americane de reglementare in domeniul sigurantei auto sa acorde derogari pentru a implementa un numar limitat de vehicule care se conduc singure, fara comenzi umane precum volanul si pedala de frana. USD in AEI HorizonX, pentru a contribui la crearea unui nou fond de venture capital, extinzand astfel parteneriatul cu firma de private equity, AE Industrial Partners, format in scopul investirii in startup-urile de tehnologie din industria aerospatiala. AEI HorizonX planuieste sa atraga o finantare de 250 mil. USD pentru a sustine startup-urile respective. In cadrul expozitiei de la Farnboroguh, Boeing a primit peste 100 de comenzi pentru modelul MAX, in timp ce rivalul european, Airbus, a primit comenzi numeroase, printre care o comanda din China pentru 300 de aeronave. In alte stiri, Azerbaijan Airlines a semnat un memorandum de intelegere pentru achizitia a altor patru modele Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Presedintele companiei azere de servicii de transport aerian a specificat ca doreste ca Azerbaijan Airlines sa detina o flota de 10 aeronave de acest fel, pana in anul 2030, in prezent detinand doar doua.
