Compania este al treilea cel mai mare producator national de ata din poliester, domeniu in curs de dezvoltare, acesta fiind un produs relativ nou, introdus in fabricatie de cativa ani de zile. Cu o istorie de peste 90 de ani, compania a fost infiintata in 1923 de industriasi sasi din Cisnadie, sub denumirea de Talma, acestia cumparand o fosta moara, in scopul producerii de postavuri militare, urmand ca in 1991 sa preia denumirea actuala.
