Electromed, Inc. develops, manufactures and markets airway clearance products (www.smartvest.com). The Company applies High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation (HFCWO) technologies in pulmonary care for patients of all ages. The Company markets products that provide HFCWO, including the SmartVest Airway Clearance System (SmartVest System) that includes SmartVest SQL and SV2100, and related products, to patients with compromised pulmonary function. The SmartVest System provides to private insurance providers, health maintenance organizations (HMOs), state Medicaid systems, and the federal Medicare system. The SmartVest SQL is smaller, quieter and lighter with programmability and ease of use. Its products are sold in both the home health care market and the institutional market. SmartVest SQL has developed SmartVest Connect, which is a wireless technology that allows data connection between physicians and patients to track therapy performance and collaborate in treatment decisions
