The Company is focused on the development and commercialization of therapies for cardiopulmonary diseases. The Company’s lead product candidate, bentracimab (PB2452) is a reversal agent for the antiplatelet drug ticagrelor, which the Company is developing for the reversal of the antiplatelet effects of ticagrelor in patients with uncontrolled major or life-threatening bleeding or requiring urgent surgery or an invasive procedure. The Company’s second product candidate, pemziviptadil (PB1046) is in Phase II development for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Pemziviptadil utilizes the Company’s half-life extending elastin-like polypeptide technology, which also serves as an engine for the Company’s preclinical pipeline. The Company is also developing its preclinical product candidate, PB6440 for treatment-resistant hypertension.
