KBC Groupe SA (https://www.kbc.com/) is one of Belgium's leading insurance banking groups. The group's activity is organized into 3 areas:
- banking: retail, private banking, financial and market banking activities. At the end of 2020, the group had a network of 1,265 banking offices, including 476 located in Belgium. KBC Groupe managed EUR 215.4 billion in current deposits and EUR 159.6 billion in current credits;
- insurance: non life insurance (59.2% of gross earned premiums) and life insurance (40.8%);
- asset management.
Income is distributed geographically as follows: Belgium (61.2%), Czech Republic (19.7%), Hungary (7.5%), Slovakia (4.4%), Ireland (3.6%), Bulgaria (3.5%) and other (0.1%).
