Vitreous Glass Inc. (http://www.vitreousglass.ca/) is a Canada-based company that owns and operates a waste glass processing plant in Airdrie, Alberta. The Company's plant gathers post-consumer waste glass from Alberta and crushes it, removes contaminants, and sells the final product, GlasSand to manufacturers of fiberglass building insulation as furnace ready cullet, for use as a raw material in their production facilities in Alberta. The Company accepts deposit system beverage container glass from Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
