Microbot Medical Inc. (http://www.microbotmedical.com/) is a pre-clinical medical device company. The Company is focused on the research, design and development of robotic endoluminal surgery devices targeting the minimally invasive surgery space. Its technological platforms are comprised of ViRob, TipCAT and Liberty, including certain CardioSert assets. Using the ViRob platform, Microbot is developing the Self Cleaning Shunt (SCS) for the treatment of hydrocephalus and Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). Utilizing the Liberty and CardioSert platforms, it is developing disposable robot for various endovascular interventional procedures. ViRob technology is an autonomous crawling micro-robot, which can be controlled remotely or within the body. TipCAT is a disposable self-propelled locomotive device, designed to advance in tubular anatomies. Liberty is a disposable robotic system, designed to move guidewires and over-the-wire devices, such as microcatheters within the body’s vasculature.
