The Company operates through two segments: Consumer & Research Services and Therapeutics. Its consumer & research services business segment comprises personal genome service (PGS) and research services. Its PGS provides a suite of genetic reports, including information on genetic ancestral origins, personal genetic health risks, rare carrier conditions to their children, as well as reports on how genetics can impact responses to medications. The Company’s therapeutics segment focuses on drug development for discovering and developing therapies to improve patient lives and includes out-licensing of intellectual property. The Company’s programs across therapeutic areas, include oncology, immunology, neurology, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.
