The Compnay builts a portfolio of products that includes utilizing its novel and proprietary BioErodible MucoAdhesive (BEMA), drug-delivery technology to develop and commercialize new applications of therapies aimed at addressing important unmet medical needs. BEMA drug delivery technology consists of a small, bi-layered erodible polymer film for application to the buccal mucosa (the lining inside the cheek). The Company's product candidates includes BELBUCA (buprenorphine buccal film), CIII, for Chronic Pain; Symproic (naldemedine), for Opioid Induced Constipation and ONSOLIS (fentanyl buccal soluble film) for Breakthrough Cancer Pain.
