When it comes to streaming services, what companies don’t say is often as important as what they do. Disney+ gained 11.7 million subscribers last quarter, outpacing all streaming services. Netflix added 8.3 million new subscribers, but shares fell when it forecast just 2.5 million new adds for the first quarter of 2022.
