Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. (li-cycle.com), formerly Peridot Acquisition Corp, is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in recycling lithium-ion batteries. The Company’s recycling process is designed to process battery manufacturing scrap and end-of-life batteries to recover raw materials. The Company leverages its Spoke & Hub technologies to provide end-of-life solution for lithium-ion batteries. Its technology uses a combination of mechanical reduction and hydrometallurgical resource recovery for lithium-ion battery recycling. Its Spokes technology process battery manufacturing scrap and end-of-life batteries to produce black mass and other intermediate products. Its Hubs technology process black mass to recover raw materials, which includes lithium carbonate, cobalt sulphate and nickel sulphate.
