Prothena Corporation PLC (http://www.prothena.com/) is a late-stage clinical company. The Company is engaged in the protein dysregulation and a pipeline of therapeutics for devastating neurodegenerative and rare peripheral amyloid diseases. It is advancing a pipeline of therapeutic candidates around neurological dysfunction and the biology of misfolded proteins. The Company's clinical pipeline of antibody-based product candidates targets a range of indications, including Birtamimab for the treatment of amyloid light-chain (AL) amyloidosis; prasinezumab for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and other related synucleinopathies; and PRX004, for the treatment of Transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR). The Company's pipeline also includes late-preclinical-stage programs targeting proteins implicated in neurological diseases including tau and amyloid beta (Aβ) for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, and TDP-43 for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
